Emergency World, LLC: Emergency World evolved from OnGuard, Inc. who produced and distributed emergency response training videos and later introduced interactive training CD's. The company had success with a small telemarketing /sales department that was geared toward the dialing for dollars sales model. The company contracted with SalesMark to assist in recruiting, training, and managing the company's telemarketing/sales department. After evaluating the business and the market we determined that hiring more people was not the long term solution to increasing sales and market share. What we recommended was working with the existing sales staff, implementing a new sales process, and developing a new marketing strategy. In other words, we took one step back, and two steps forward. Within a 12 month period we successfully developed and implemented a new sales process and a strategy that increased profits by more than 25% from the previous year. The company's products have been acquired by The International Fire Service Training Association (IFSTA) www.ifsta.org. .
LandNet Corporation (www.landvoyage.com ): LandNet Corporation is a leading provider of Internet mapping solutions. LandNet originally contracted with SalesMark in 2000 to develop a sales process and on-line marketing strategy for launching www.landvoyage.com. SalesMark assisted in developing the initial website user interface, website navigation, user tutorials, website content, affiliate revenue sharing model and subscription model. SalesMark also provided extensive market research data and contributed significantly to the business plan including 3 year revenue forecasts. LandVoyage.com offers an on-line subscription service that includes access to the entire mapping library, as well as patented drawing/measuring tools and advanced search methods. LandVoyage was developed by LandNet Corporation beginning in 1999 and has served more than five million users over the Internet to date.
Northwest Directories, Inc. (www.nwd247.com ): Northwest Directories is a newly formed company that produces phone directories and other business directories in the Oregon, Washington and Idaho. The company contracted with SalesMark to develop a comprehensive business plan that can be presented to prospective investors, and to help guide the company's management team as it executes on the plan. The plan includes: a detailed market analysis, marketing strategy, sales plan, and a complete collection of financial forecasts including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and a 5 year sales forecast.
The Where To Eat Guide (www.theeatguide.com ): The Where to Eat Guide is the brainchild of John Herbick, a creative business entrepreneur with previous experience and success in the publishing/advertising world. SalesMark was hired to provide contracted sales and business consulting services to help establish a new quarterly publishing schedule. The project was for the duration of the Summer issue which was the most successful issue to date. SalesMark continues in an advisory role for The Where to Eat Guide and will continue to help evolve the company's strategy and contribute to it's growth.
Bend Heating & Sheet Metal, Inc.(www.bendheating.com ): Bend Heating has been successfully operating under owner Scott Zettle's leadership since the mid-eighties but not without some help. Since 2003 SalesMark has helped increase the awareness of Bend Heating's brand and market share by providing business, marketing and sales resources. Amid an increasingly competitive market the company has grown in that timeframe by nearly 100% and is firmly established as a top HVAC contractor in the Central Oreogn region. As a trusted provider, SalesMark works closely with Bend Heating owner Scott Zettle and Bend Heating Radiant Division's owner Steve Zettle.
